Pufferfish Blogs

Random stuff about pufferfish!

10/5/2024

I just decided to revamp the website, so the old blogs are going out. Don't worry, though; The pufferfish sounds are still here! Real quick, here's the distinctive "aaugh" sound of a pufferfish:

And here's the music made with this sound from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEwR_PSBDek":

That's it for the first blog entry of the new website! See you later!

Update: The second audio clip was the same as the first. Fixed it.

I've finally finished the official demo for Blobby's Dungeon! It's on my website here.

PufferFISH!!!

Yeah, I don't update this often. As you can tell, this won't always be about pufferfish.

Anyway, I've been working for a long time, and finally made my own programming language and interpreter! I'll be adding the documentation on my blogs page at some point.

Fact: Young pufferfish are cannibals.

Merry two days after Christmas!

It probably would've made more sense to add this on Christmas. Hm. Well, to celebrate Christmas, I've added a Christmas themed game to my website. Merry two days after Christmas to all, and to all a good two-days-after-Christmas-y night!

Fact: Pufferfish can close their eyes without eyelids!

At this point, I've gotten about a fourth of the way through making Blobby's Dungeon. I'm thinking that I might try to update the demo at some point. In other news, I'm going to try some writing again, which I haven't done in a while. The book will be in a rare second-person-ish format, with the author talking to the reader as he tries to write a book.

Pufferfish fact: Pufferfish are rather slow swimmers.

Happy first day of February! I'm writing this to say that I've added a new game to this site: Tilegame. Like many other gamemakers, it lets you fill in tiles to make a platformer. A cool feature is that you can copy levels as text with ctrl + c and load a level from your clipboard with ctrl + s (which would allow you to save your level on a text file). Sadly, this doesn't seem to work on the web, so you can't save levels you make on the website.
